*Cough**Cough*… Finally got the cobwebs dusted out.. :D Can’t believe it’s been a year since I last updated this blog. Weather’s been a little cool in the evenings *when it rains* especially in the air conditioned buildings (Best time to knit!!. :D) Perfect to take out some of those knitted cardis and blanket to snuggle.. Add a cup of hot chocolate and life is blissful…

Speaking of the weather, this brings about a question that many of you will have. How will knitted garments fit into the Malaysia weather? Won’t it be too bulky and hot for such items? Admittedly, knitted and crochet garment tend to be a little thicker that their other fabric counterparts, it is still possible to make something suitable for our tropical climate. It all depends on the yarn and the pattern you choose.

You will find that there are surprisingly a lot of Spring/Summer patterns in publications these days for you to choose from. Paired with yarns like cotton or cotton mix, which absorbs moisture, it keeps the wearer cool under this tropical climate. The designs of the garments that are either sleeveless or short sleeved and some lace, the garment can look good just as it is functional.

Come over for a preview and see what you can do. Experience the therapeutic joy of knitting and crocheting and see results for yourselves.;)
